Delete your account

Last updated August 9, 2026

This page explains how to permanently delete your Savlo account (developer: Savlo, package com.savlo.app) and the personal data associated with it. There are two ways to do it: from inside the app, or by sending us a request.

Savlo is a mobile app only — there is no web version, so there is nothing on this website to sign in to. That is why requests made without the app are handled by email.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself from the app

This is the fastest route and it is immediate. If you still have Savlo installed:

  1. Open Savlo and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Account & Profile → Personal Info.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm the two warning screens.

Your account and its data are erased right away and your session is closed on every device. This cannot be undone.

If you want to keep a copy of your records first, use Settings → Export my data before deleting.

Option 2 — Request deletion without the app

If you have already uninstalled Savlo or cannot access your account, email us and we will delete it for you:

support@savloapp.com

Send the request from the email address registered on the account (if you signed up with Google, use that same Google address). We use that as verification. If you write from a different address we will ask you to confirm ownership before deleting anything, because an unverified deletion request from a stranger would itself be a security problem.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes your login credentials and, in cascade, everything tied to them:

  • Your profile, email address and app settings
  • All movements: expenses, income, transfers and reserves
  • Accounts, balances, sinking funds and their contributions
  • Budgets, categories and savings goals
  • Recurring rules and their scheduled occurrences
  • Imported files and their processing history
  • AI assistant conversations and the memories built from them
  • Voice recordings and their transcripts
  • Streaks, insights and reports

What we keep, and for how long

A small amount of data survives the deletion, and only for these reasons:

  • Encrypted backups. Your data may persist in our database backups for up to 30 days after deletion, isolated from any further processing, until those backups rotate out.
  • Analytics and crash reports. Diagnostic events (Sentry, PostHog) are deleted or stripped of any identifier within 30 days of your request.
  • Billing and tax records. If you ever purchased a subscription, the transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. They contain the purchase, not your financial data.

How long it takes

  • From inside the app: immediate.
  • By email: we complete the deletion within 30 days of verifying the request, and normally much sooner. We confirm by email once it is done.

A note about subscriptions

Deleting your Savlo account does not cancel a paid subscription on its own. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play, so you also need to cancel it there: Play Store → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Savlo → Cancel. Do this before deleting the account so you are not billed again.
